About Connór

Welp, you guested it. It’s me. Hi, friends! My name is Connór and I am the dude behind the creation of STAAHJ. I’m also an Artist/Designer that goes by the name SEVEN. This was also the inspiration to start my own Design Agency @7avisualcraftsman back in 2015. Then on January 1st, 2023 I had the wild idea to travel around the world to CHALLENGE myself (physically and mentally), to INSPIRE people to go explore the world to learn new things about cultures and cuisines, and the most important thing…COOK!

Thank you for joining me on my cooking adventure/project. Since January 2023, I have been traveling around the world to film episodes for Season 1 of my cooking show called “The Cooks Venture” and it will be released on YouTube sometime once I have enough funding for post production editing$$$. This project is 100% self-funded and I’m trying my best to make it as good as possible (it’s an art project over trying to be a trendy cooking show). So far I have traveled to 10 different countries and numerous cities/locations to film. I am learning so much on this journey between cultures, cooking skills, and definitely how to film a cooking show. As and Artist/Designer, I approach cooking quite differently then most traditional chefs. Building a story is everything for me. Guess that is the brand designer in me. My brain goes to colors, textures, hierarchy, layers, origins to build emotional connections around my cooking. When I create dishes, I learn from the traditional way to make them then infuse all my creativity, knowledge, and energy to create something brand new. I definitely have a lot of energy that I love to share with people especially for teaching and hyping up events.

I have been in and out of the kitchen my entire life from growing up cooking with my Mum in our home to getting to learn from some of the best chefs around the world. I associate cooking and the culinary world with family. This project and cooking services I offer to connect with people truly warms my heart. Now I can share all of my knowledge and epic stories from all around the world right in your home kitchen or at your next event.
